Special Inspection Services
Electrical Equipment Inspection
The most commonly required electrical special inspection is for electrical equipment rated 1000A or more. A special inspection certificate is required by a qualified party before the equipment may be energized. We analyze the equipment testing results, check that the equipment is installed per the engineered drawings, and verify a code compliant installation. Optimized LED is small and dynamic, we can typically be on-site for a special inspection with a few days.
Lighting Ordinance Compliance
A few Authorities Having Jurisdiction in Arizona require computer generated light level photometric models and 3rd party on-site light level testing. We are highly skilled at providing computer generated photometrics using specialized software. Additionally, we own all necessary equipment to complete 3rd party on-site light level verification. All services are completed by a registered electrical engineer and deliverables include a PDF of results, a report, and signing of any required certificates. We typically able to provide these services within a few days.
Lighting Control Commissioning
Starting with the 2015 release of the International Energy Conservation Code all lighting control system installations are required to have 3rd party commissioning completed. Only a few AHJ's in Arizona enforce this section of the IECC. We can help if you find yourself being asked to get a Special Inspection completed for your automated lighting control system. We are typically able to provide this service in just a few days.
